Painful, contracted bilateral breast implant reconstruction exchanged for bilateral DIEP flaps

History of bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomy with silicone implant reconstruction, but she developed painful and disfiguring breast contractures around the implants. We removed the implants, restored her pectoralis major muscles to their natural positions, and then replaced her implants with DIEP flaps which significantly improved her quality of life.
