Chest Masculinization: Circumareolar approach

The smaller volume of the glandular tissue to be removed and healthy skin envelope without stretch marks made this patient an ideal candidate for this minimally invasive approach. Six month postoperative photos are shown. The only scars present are around the periphery of the areola which have been reduced in size. This patient did have some delayed wound healing of the left areola, but ultimately achieved the result shown.
